Patrick Lucy is an accomplished biotechnology executive with over 34 years of industry experience. Patrick is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Wheeler Bio, Inc., an agile contract development and manufacturing organization focused on producing biologic-based therapeutics. As a seasoned senior executive, he has overseen numerous company milestones and driven significant growth.

Patrick most recently served as President and CEO of RoslinCT US (formerly Lykan Bioscience), a cell therapy contract manufacturer based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, and Edinburgh, Scotland. Under his leadership, he led the successful launch of the Lykan business and, just 19 months later, orchestrated its sale to GHO Capital, providing a successful exit for the original private equity investors. Following this acquisition, GHO integrated Lykan and RoslinCT under the RoslinCT name, further solidifying their market presence.

Prior to Lykan Bioscience, Patrick was a founder and served in the roles of Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer, and Interim Chief Executive Officer at Pfenex, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company (NYSE: PFNX) that started as a venture-backed spin-out from The Dow Chemical Company in 2009 and was later acquired by Ligand Pharmaceuticals in October 2020 for up to $512 million. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Repligen Corporation, Celltech Biologics, Lonza Biologics, and Collaborative BioAlliance.

Christian Kanady is the Founding Partner & CEO of Echo, a multi-strategy investment firm that connects overlooked domestic resources and infrastructure with world-class founders, ideas, and capital to generate exceptional financial and social returns.

Under Christian’s leadership, Echo became one of the largest private owners of oil and gas royalties in the world by accumulating mineral rights across the Permian and Anadarko basins of Texas and Oklahoma between 2015-2020. His private equity holdings also include a growing real estate portfolio of landmark commercial properties across emerging U.S. urban markets.

Now investing across energy, life science, national security, and media & entertainment, Christian understands how to build cutting-edge companies and solve problems for innovators by leveraging untapped resources and aligning public, private, and community partnerships. This includes managing a diverse portfolio of investments in innovative companies creating disruption across industries and leading investment in enterprises such as Prairie Surf Media and Wheeler Bio.

A firm believer in giving back, Christian is an active philanthropist, forging long-term partnerships with nonprofits involved in community development, education, social services, youth athletics, and music and the arts. His entrepreneurial spirit guides his vision to drive community growth and innovation. A key example of his visionary leadership includes spearheading a regional biotech coalition and proposal that ultimately resulted in a $35 million federal grant in 2022 to support several key projects, including Convergence OKC and BioTC Oklahoma.

Christian’s family is his most meaningful achievement, and he is a devoted husband to Kate and proud father to daughters Lily, Constantina, Marie-Sistine, and Annunciata. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Errik Anderson is a bioengineer, entrepreneur, and investor who has founded or co-founded a number of venture-backed biotech companies in the last 20 years – including Alloy Therapeutics, Adimab, Compass Therapeutics, Alector, Arsanis, and Avitide. He has been responsible for all aspects of starting and scaling his businesses – operationally as the CEO, COO, and/or CFO and as a member of the Board of Directors.

Errik currently serves as the founder and full-time CEO of Alloy Therapeutics, a biologics drug discovery company, and as a General Partner at 82VS, Alloy’s affiliated venture studio. 82VS combines Alloy’s platforms and services with a skilled team of company creation experts and has built 10 active companies and completed four successful spinouts to date. Additionally, Errik is the CEO of his single-family office, Ulysses Diversified Holdings, where he supports entrepreneurially minded people building for-profit companies that make the world a better place. Beyond his biotech specialty, Errik is a technology generalist and investor who has worked with and invested in teams in high tech, fintech, biotech, consumer, software, alternative energy, health IT, and healthcare services.

Errik started his career in venture capital at Lehman Brothers Venture Capital and worked in marketing at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business, where he graduated as a Tuck Scholar and is a member of the Board of Advisors. He studied bioengineering as a graduate student at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and received his A.B. in Economics from Dartmouth College.

He has served two terms as the Chairman of the Board of Governors at Major League Rugby and is an owner of the Boston-based professional rugby team The New England Free Jacks. He also sits on several for-profit and non-profit boards, including the Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth College.

Dr. Matthew Hewitt is Vice President and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the Manufacturing Business Division at Charles River Laboratories (CRL), where he leads global strategy across Testing and Microbial Solutions. With over 15 years of experience in cell and gene therapy, he partners closely with senior leadership to drive innovation, operational excellence, and scientific advancement across CRL’s global network.

Prior to joining CRL, Matt was Head of Clinical Development for Lonza’s Personalized Medicine (PerMed) Business Unit, where he was responsible for the Cocoon Platform, a closed, automated, scalable cell therapy manufacturing solution that relieves many cell therapy manufacturing difficulties. Matt also oversaw numerous academic and industry collaborations at Lonza to accelerate CGT clinical development timelines; this included a lead program in Israel that culminated in dosing the 1st patient with a cell therapy manufactured in the Cocoon. He led the R&D Innovation group for a time, which included launching the Personalized Medicine Scientific Advisory Board to aid in directing current and future personalized medicine activities, and launching a personalized medicine analytics initiative to better understand cell therapy products and provide deeper insight to enhance clinical efficacy and manufacturing process robustness.

Prior to joining Lonza, Matt led the Tumor Immunology and Microenvironment program at Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, which focused on improving cell therapy efficacy in solid tumors. Matt led the Immunology group at the University of Pennsylvania’s Gene Therapy Program under Dr. James Wilson, leading numerous AAV gene therapy programs.

Matt received his PhD. in Biophysics & Physiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.
