Warehouse Associate – GMP Site

About the Role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for day-to-day GMP warehouse operations at Wheeler Bio’s manufacturing site. This position handles material receipts, material movement through quarantine and approval stages, material issues and returns from internal customers, and preparation of GMP and non-GMP shipments. This position will also be involved in the annual inventory management process, participate in internal and external audits as needed, and contribute to the ongoing development of a mature supply chain function within the larger organization. This role is central to ensuring GMP production runs smoothly, compliantly, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform GMP-compliant receiving of raw materials, consumables, and client-supplied materials.
• Manage quarantine, released, and rejected material segregation.
• Execute cycle counts, monthly inventory reconciliation, and expiry management.
• Pick, issue, and return materials for non-GMP and GMP batches.
• Prepare and document outbound shipments, including stability, intermediates, and finished product.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance of GMP warehouse areas.
• Support audits and provide documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a regulated warehousing and/or materials management environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP documentation and material handling requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems and temperature-controlled materials.
• Experience with arranging temperature/time sensitive shipments domestically and internationally.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
